Professional core aeration

Core aeration is one of the most useful treatments for lawn health. It relieves soil compaction and helps roots develop.

Aeration benefits

  • Compaction relief: reduces soil density so roots grow more freely
  • Better drainage: improves water and air movement through the soil
  • Stronger feeding: fertiliser reaches the root zone more effectively
  • Thatch reduction: helps break down built-up organic matter
  • Deeper roots: encourages stronger root systems

When we aerate

Warm-season grasses

Late spring to early summer (October to December).

Cool-season grasses

Autumn (March to May) for the best results.

Soil conditions

Moist but not waterlogged, so cores pull cleanly.

Overseeding programs

Overseeding benefits

  • Fills thin or bare patches
  • Improves lawn density and appearance
  • Introduces improved grass varieties
  • Increases resistance to pests and disease
  • Builds drought tolerance
  • Reduces room for weeds to establish

Our equipment

We use commercial electric Kress tools for regular work. They are quiet and produce no emissions on site. For overgrown blocks or acreage up to 2 acres, we use a petrol Bobcat zero-turn mower with a 36-inch deck.

You choose a service window and we complete the work within it. Windows run 8 to 10am, 10am to 12pm, 12 to 2pm, and 2 to 4pm. This suits clients who are at work during the day.

"I highly recommend this business. Matt is an excellent communicator and had our quote and job done efficiently. There was no stuffing around, he was straight to the job, got the work done and was finished."
